For Boilers

The installation of a boiler requires precision and expertise. Our team of certified technicians will assess your home’s heating needs, taking into account the size of your home, your insulation, and your specific heating preferences. We will recommend the best type of boiler for your home, whether it’s a traditional gas boiler, an oil-fired system, or a high-efficiency condensing boiler. Our installation process ensures that your boiler is set up for optimal performance, with all connections and controls properly configured to maximize efficiency and safety.

One of the main advantages of a boiler system is its ability to provide a comfortable, steady heat that doesn’t dry out the air, as forced-air systems can. Additionally, boilers are known for their quiet operation and longevity. With proper care and maintenance, a well-installed boiler can last for decades, providing reliable heating season after season.

Regular maintenance is crucial to keeping your boiler operating at peak efficiency. Our maintenance services include inspecting and cleaning the boiler, checking the pressure and temperature controls, and testing the system for leaks or other potential issues. By performing these routine checks, we help prevent unexpected breakdowns and ensure that your boiler continues to operate safely and efficiently.

In addition to traditional boiler systems, we also offer installation and maintenance services for combi boilers, which provide both heating and hot water from a single unit. Combi boilers are an excellent choice for smaller homes or those looking to save space, as they eliminate the need for a separate hot water tank.

Whether you’re upgrading an old boiler, installing a new system, or need repairs to your existing unit, our boiler services offer the expertise and reliability you can count on. We are committed to ensuring that your home stays warm and comfortable, no matter how cold it gets outside. Trust our team to provide professional, high-quality boiler installation and maintenance services that keep your heating system running smoothly and efficiently for years to come.

Are high efficiency boilers worth it?

The truth is cast iron boilers are often referred to as 80% efficient but they are not.   They are about 60% efficient.   That means for every $1 of gas $.40 goes up the chimney. Don't touch it but a cast iron boiler chimney can get as hot as 400* and that's all wasted energy and money.   Modern high efficiency boilers save space,  are much cleaner and truly are 96% efficient

How long do boilers last?

We often see cast iron boilers last over 30 years.   The number one cause of a boiler failure is a leak.  Leaks are caused by a malfunctioning expansion tank or relief valve.   We recommend annual boiler maintenance where we check those parts and many others.
